So I keep telling myself that I need to write down the funny things my kids do/say. You know, because I seem to be forgetting things lately.
This past Fast Sunday Mason wanted to share his testimony. This was his first time and he went up all by himself. After saying sweet things like " Thank you for this wonderful earth" he closes by saying "and that all." When he came down he said "Mom, I didn't know how to end it."
On the way to orientation to meet his teacher he says "Mom, I'm going to like my teacher, even if she's fat." Okay. Seriously, I don't know where he picks up on things.
Daegan and I received callings in our ward. I am the music leader in Relief Society. I know, right. I do not play the piano and I can't sing. I can maybe lead because of the pictures in the book.
Daegan is the 11 year old scout master. Yeah for him. Now he has someone to teach besides Mason how to survive in the outdoors and knife handling.
We are off to Idaho for the weekend. Daegan is going on another fishing trip. Brock Williamson is evil.

Ha! That Brock is aweful! Glad he got your husband. I fear for when we move closer to them. We'll have to come out and see you guys sometime. Brian's grandparents lived there for a few years, so he's been there. Hope you're liking it and good luck with the calling! :)
Music, wow you go girl. So does that mean you get to see Tyra a lot? That sounds like fun. You two need to go spend all there money!!! I bet your house could use a few new things. NO really sounds like life is good. We miss you guys.
Renn and I both chuckled over the callings. I hope we get to hear about some adventures in scouting...

I am with you in the cant sing department. I told my bishop I would do ANYTHING but lead singing. I bet you will be great at your new callings!!!
Wow! Congrats on the new callings! I was hoping you'd be in YW so we could exchange fun ideas, but music is always good. Mason cracks me up.
You can ALWAYS count your blessings that you're not in the nursery, Bishopric or Relief Society presidency...Hence, you both have good callings. Yes, Brock Williamson is evil. I know.
I wouldn't say Brock is evil, just "celestially challenged." (That's why he has Tyra, right??)
Mason's testimony cracks me up! We get a lot of "Praise Jesus!" in our testimonies and prayers in our new ward. Keeps it interesting.
Dr. Evil here. Just wait until next summer. I already have a two week long fishing trip planned with Daegan. Also, ice fishing season is just around the corner. You can call me Mr. Freeze then.
