Summa time

This is a worm that the kids found this morning in the driveway. They made it their pet and put it in Camden's bike and rode around with it. So nice.

Daegan and I celebrated 9 years yesterday. He gave me some perfume (Super Model....Victoria secret) and I got him some ammo for his shot gun. I think. Some gun.
That just shows how different we are. But it works!
I wanted to get him something to organize his dresser with but then I realized we already own a garbage.

The Dresser

The dresser.....now, it's not anything like "the chair" from this movie.
NO room.

This dresser has been driving me crazy for quite sometime. In school Daegan's excuse was not having anywhere to put all his things. So I told myself just to deal with it until we had a bigger place. Now we have a garage. The perfect place for his "collectibles." I call it clutter.
So let's take a look at what he so desperately can't have one story below him.

batteries
money (just coins, otherwise it wouldn't be there)
paper (that has been cut by some sort of knife)
knives
knife handles
bullets
shells
cologne
headlamp
flashlights
tools
receipts
pager
gum wrappers (trident)
battery charger
CD's
books
GPS (hey, just ask me where the garage is)
His stuff even takes over part of the window seal.
And my favorite is how he uses the edge of the dresser to test the sharpness of his knives. Look closely.
I want my bedroom to be my sanctuary. Not feel like I'm sleeping in a shop. On the floor by the dresser is a pile of dirty clothes. Yep, we do own a laundry basket. But his defense is that it's on my side of the room. Serioulsy? I wash your clothes AND put them away. All you have to do is put them in the basket. You SO have the better end of the deal. If I had it my way he would have cologne and a picture of me.
Anyways, love you babe, just not your dresser. Not one little bit.

Nice Grill

Gosh people, it's been a long time.
So we purchased our first barbecue. Daegan wanted a charcoal one. The food does taste better but it takes so much longer. But since he is the one who will be doing the grilling it doesn't matter to me. As long as I get my meat done medium-well.
Plus this one cost $40 compared to $250. We could have got one off the side of road but who knows what people put on barbecues.
We had Daegan's assistant Kim and her husband Brock over to break it in. Menu.......tri -tip and barbecue chicken. We know how to do it.

After the excitement of the barbecue died down I made some flowers. It was a good weekend. My mother-in-law gave Mason an old CD-player. Along with Alvin and The Chipmunks soundtrack. He thinks it's so cool. I can't wait for him to take it for show and tell and then have his friend bring a 8GB nano. He has no idea what he's missing and I love it.
ELi found it and was listening to music all by himself.

ON another note.......

This is Amanda. She is in my ward. She is also "special." She has no family that live here or even try to contact her. She was called to help me out with the music in Relief Society. She likes me.........a lot. She is always rubbing my back in church and trying to lay on my lap. It can get awkward but whatta ya do.

She was in the special Olympics a few weeks ago. My friend Julie and I went to support. She did great. She is such a sweetheart.

It was 7:30 A.M.
