Stella

I was scheduled to be induced 1 week before my due date....Oct 23. My kids had just started their 2 week fall break. We had plans. I wanted to do all these things with them before the baby came. On the 23rd.
On the 16th I started having contractions. (I don't normally start on my own) We timed them and they were about 3 minutes apart and lasting 30 seconds each. I called my doctor and she wanted me to come in and be monitored (blah) to see what was going on. Well, after 3 hours of being there I was dilated to a 1. So I went home. Monday morning (Oct.17) came and I had a doctor's appointment already scheduled. I was still having contractions and he said I was dilated to a 4 and to go home and get my stuff and come back to have the baby. what? ummmm.....what? I'm not ready. Daegan had a busy week at work because he was taking the first 3 days off of the next week when I was supposed to have the baby. So, I checked into the hospital at 11:45 and she was born at 3:18. My fastest delivery! It all worked out and I am grateful for all the help from friends!

Me and Miss getting ready to go home

Born Oct. 17th at 3:18 at Parker hospital in Parker, Colorado. 7lbs. 15oz.

her first bath. She slept through the entire thing!

And then there were 4.

Eli was 9lbs. 8oz. I was for sure thinking I would have one at least that size. I was pleasantly surprised that she was smaller! She did come 2 weeks early.

My good friend Melanie. She kept my kids overnight so Daegan could stay with me the first night. Thanks to everyone who helped out while I was in the hospital!! (Trisha, Sarah, Jazmine)

Getting used to 4 kids is hard! We are just loving her though. Now it's sore nipples and tired days. I wouldn't change a thing.

Fall Festivities

We went to the pumpkin patch with the family and got in on the serious corn maze, tractor ride, and barrel ride.

We got a little hungry during the corn maze...

Daegan not only has a way with the ladies but animals too.

All in all it was a fun evening.
