I like to quote movies and see if Daegan gets them. He rarely does. I'm not sure why since I quote awesome movies like this one.....

I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would give a shout out to everyone who checks my blog.
Shout out.

Daegan graduates in 4 weeks and we still have no job.
No job= no money
No money=No house
No house= No place to put food that we cannot afford.

I have started to pack my house. Started meaning 3 boxes in 2 weeks.
Life is crazy right now. So much is unknown. It's a little scary to have to make all of these life decisions. I don't like it. We have married almost 8 years and have been in school the entire time. We don't know any different. The next step was always more school. Daegan went to Montana this week to look at another job possibility. It looks promising. Our lease is up the end of May so we are definitely out of here. Job or no job. There is always Home Depot or McDonald's. Pray for us.

Not meant to be

We tried to get pictures of the kids in the fall and we picked the coldest day to do it. I wanted to try it again in the spring and we had the coldest day again. Camden has the same expression on her face......."I'm freezing"

Mason lost his tooth the day before and for some reason every time he smiled he put his front teeth over his bottom lip. Not so cute. (I'm not sying he's not cute, just this particular smile. Because that would be mean)




Even though it was really cold the kids did pretty well. Thanks again to Ginnie J Photography . You are the best!

NYC

My sister Beth has been visiting me this past week. I took her into NYC yesterday. I brought my friend Val with me to help me get around. I've been to the city quite a few times but am usually a follower so I don't really pay attention. Any other time, I am a leader. Oh yeah.

Here we are at Battery Park. If you look close you can see the Statue of Liberty.

And of course we had to go to Serendipity. We forgot to get a picture BEFORE we drank the frozen hot chocolate.

I was sad to miss the exciting event of Mason loosing his first tooth. He was so excited to call and tell me. He looks so cute..........and like a hillbilly. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The tooth fairy brought him $1.25.
(I only had 5 quarters. Plus it seems like your getting a lot.)
To my surprise this is how Daegan got her ready for the day. I thought she would be in her Pj's all day. How cute is she?!
He even did her hair. I think he does a better job than I do. Beth and I made those flowers in her hair.

Here we are at Central Park. We stopped to condense our shopping bags. I bought a purse and 2 pairs of sunglasses. Knock-offs are the best. So, I bought a pair of aviator sunglasses because Beth and Val swore they looked cute on me, (and made me look 10 lbs. thinner) I will have to post a picture and see what you think. Oh, and some Dwight Schrute magnets from the NBC store. They make me laugh every time I look at them.

IDAHO

Daegan and I went to Idaho for a few days to check out some job opportunities. I wasn't going to go but Daegan said he needed me with him. Something about increasing his chances and making him look good. I don't know.

First we went to Soda Springs. There is a practice there that is looking for an associate to eventually buy in. We will see. Here is a picture. And no, we didn't cut off half of the town in the picture. There is nothing to the right, left, or back of this picture. Population 3,381 in the county. No worries, they do have maple bars so I guess I would be okay.
We stayed with my sister in Idaho Falls. She has a great Dane named Attikus. Eli was a little unsure at first. Attikus was so protective of Eli. Every morning he would come in our room and look in the crib to see if he was okay. If Eli was crying, Attikus was there.
They were good buddies by the end of the weekend.
We went riding around the neighborhood on the bikes. You know who wears the pants in this family. Actually, this was my first time riding a motorbike. I stayed in first gear the entire time. I was always the passenger. I grew up with them on the farm but never learned how to ride. All of my sisters know how to except me. I get crap for it too.
This is my dad. Do you see the resemblance? We are both tall and skinny.
