Yesterday was my birthday and Daegan made me a cake. The first cake he has ever made/bought me in 8 years of marriage. He wanted it to be a checkerboard cake. Working hard so it will be perfect for the perfect birthday girl. He did a good job. Thanks bebah!
My friend Sarah treated me to the Pizza Hut buffet for lunch. We both like the place but the hubs don't. Thanks again Sarah!Thanks for everyone who sent me birthday wishes via e-mail. Or called.
We went to dinner at Famous Dave's barbecue. Yum! The kids were very good at dinner and Mason told the waitress that it was "my mom's birthday" so she gave us free ice cream. Daegan made the cake when we got home so by the time it was all frosted it was 11 p.m. The kids were still up because they wanted to sing to me and get in on the yummy cake action. I ordered me a new flat iron for my present. I hope I like it. The infomercial said it will make my hair look amazing. We will see in 4-7 business days.

Happy Birthday! It sounds like you had a fun day. Wow Daegan even made you a cake. Now that is love. It's always nice when your husband cooks for you. I love Famous Daves. Wish I could of come!
