full-time mom again

Since graduation I have seen a lot of Daegan. It's been nice in a way to have help with the kids. In other words, its been nice for selfish reasons. It's not like we haven't been getting along or anything. Maybe it's too much of a good thing. I need to be careful because his next post will probably be on how much he has enjoyed spending these last couple months with me.

He finally started work last week. SO now I am back to having a nice home cooked meal waiting for him when he arrives home. ( just like I have done our whole married life.) I don't mind because thats what a good wife does. And I AM one of those. Now back to having the 3 kiddos by myself. I'm not complaining, just expressing.
We have stairs in our house and Eli has just mastered climbing up them. But thats all. Just up. When reaching the top he thinks it's just as easy and fun to go down head first. I know what your thinking...........hello Amy, baby gate. Your right. I need to break down and get one. I guess I just keep thinking that he will, I don't know, stop.

In a way (very small way) it would be easier to be living in our apartment in PA. No stairs and having the luxury of sending the kids out to play. They would head outside around 10 and I would do some cleaning and then join them. Not just for a few minutes. Like, the whole day. Just chatting with my girls. I miss that. Unless it was laundry day then I headed to my friend Cindy's for some donuts, chicken ceasar salad, and good times. I mean a YW presidency meeting.

Here is a picture from about a year ago. I think I was really close to having Eli. Because I am ONLY big the last few days
Since I have started this post Camden has come out of my bedroom with new shoes on every time. Funny girl.

don't bother with a gate...just let him learn the hard way! a couple of tumbles down the stairs and he'll start to figure it out that you know what you're talking about.

that's what we did, and i have to say, we ARE model parents. and li'l mil is now an olympic stair descender. you can watch him compete this weekend.

Well, it'd be worse if you WERE still here. There's nobody left for your kids to play with, and nobody every goes outside because the "older" kids are always playing baseball and there's hardly anybody left to talk too!

Mmmm.....donuts sound DELICIOUS right now! :) So I am still waiting to hang out. I am sure we could chat a day away. But maybe we should do it at my house though....we don't have stairs and Eli would be safer that way. :)

Those were great times, just chilling in the lawn chairs and letting the kids play. Now we have to actually get creative every day to entertain the kids. That was a fun picture to see. I cant believe its been a year since that picture was taken. TIME FLYS!!! PS Ali just fell down my sister in laws stairs the other day... I felt so bad!

I know not having stairs in the good old colony was the best part of living there, that is next to you of course! Sounds like life is good. Camden just needs a few more of your shoes and she'll be having fun all day. So is Mason in school yet? Well it is good to know life can really get going once your out of school?!? Hey send me your email, the one I have is old. Miss you guys.
