BEST BOY......EVER

So I haven't been feeling well yesterday or today. I asked Daegan to stay home yesterday and he couldn't (or wouldn't, it depends who you ask.) I also asked him to come home early today....still waiting on that one. So, I have to depend on the next best thing..........Mason
He came in my room this morning and said
"I will go get you some tissue mom, then I will come and get Eli and take him in the living room with me. Then I will get me and Camden some cereal so you can go back to sleep."
What! Oh, Mason....I love you! Seriously, what a good boy. I was a little dissapointed when I found out there was no school for him today. I am glad to have him home because who would take care of me? And Camden, and Eli?

Here he is sipping some hot chocolate. He spilled some and said "sorry mom, I will clean that up"
He also forgives me for cutting his hair to short.
I think everything that needs to be covered up in this picture is....I just love bath pictures.
I also need to say thanks again to my friend Ashley for having Camden over to play AND feeding her dinner. She wanted to get out of the house all day. She is my errand girl. Whenever I have to go somewhere she wants to go. No matter where it is. I think she has gotten used to going somewhere almost everyday. My fault. The good thing about being sick.......Not making dinner and wearing my pj's all day with no bra.

free-stylin baby.

(I am lovin this blue text color)

"In the Motherhood" webisode

I found this through my cousin's blog. It's called "In The Motherhood." It's a "webisode." It stars Leah Remini ,Jenny McCarthy, and Chelsea Handler (who I think is so dang funny). They have a bunch of different short episodes about the joys of being a mom. This particular episode is about Valentine's Day.

Snow Day

Growing up in Idaho they hardly ever cancelled school. It had to be the worst snow storm or a shortage of potaoes or something. Out here, they will cancell school and close down stores before it even starts to snow. If there is a prediction.....cancelled. I guess in Idaho we are used to the snow just like Philly is used the shootings.
Just wanted to give a shout out to friends and family to let them know we are okay. We have plenty of food and water. Even though ice freezes to the inside of our windows, we are warm. (I'm sure those of you that have moved on can remember.) Actually, we have freezing rain now, just to give some credit to the meteorologist.

After having Mason home today I realized how much I like it that he is in school. In Between him begging me to take him to Burger King to get a kids meal, (because apparently there is a cool new toy), and Camden wanting to play Candy Land, we made sugar cookies and took them to a few of our neighbors. Mason also wants to go to Toys R' Us so I can buy him a toy........ya know, for Valentine's Day. He will have to make that request to his valentine, Abrie. Daegan took this picture of Eli with our new digital camcorder we recieved from his parents.
Camden wanted to wear her new shirt I bought for her and I said no, so she went ahead and did it anyways (surprise) and hid under her blankets. She fell asleep. So cute. (BTW...Old Navy is having a 40% baby and kids sale)
Eli and his first rice cereal
I'm not sure what is up with Mason's eye......probably something contagious. Camden licked the knife AFTER we were done frosting. And after she saw me doing it first.

Van Gogh

Mason came home from school yesterday and was so excited to show me this picture he drew. Having a hard time figuring out who it is? It's ME and Eli. He even had me wearing my glasses and I guess he drew me on a day when I had no hair. What are those things in the middle of my HUGE midsection? My boobs. Yep. I mean, I stopped nursing him over a month ago. haha
I thought he would be over it by now. At least he gave me both of them and they are pretty even and perky if I must say. Mason, did you show this to the class? Sure did. I'm just waiting for a note or a phone call from the school. Questions and requests that he draws his family members with clothes on.........and lets leave body parts out of it. Sorry about the water mark. Some milk spilled on it at dinner. Or maybe I was leaking in the picture. So, as most of you know Mason recieved a swiss army knife for Christmas. Not from me or Santa but from Daegan. He is actually very responsible with it and I find myself asking him to use it quite often. He had a funny converstion with our friends dad at the superbowl party. Mason was trying open his can of sprite..........
Justin's dad: "Hey Mason, do you need help opening your soda?"
Mason: "No thank you, I can just use my knife."
Mason then pulls his knife out of his pocket and takes out the little screwdriver and pops open the tab just enough so he can grab it with his finger.
I have to apologize for my writing. Daegan says I really need to proof read better because I have a lot of mispelled words and run on sentences and so on. So sorry.

Super Bowl XLII

We headed over to our friends parents house to watch the superbowl. The have a killer big screen TV. Not that I watched the entire game because I was where the food was........I mean, taking care of the kids in the other room. Yes, I know who was playing and yes I know who won. At halftime we played some guitar hero. Here we have Luke helping Zach and Camden rocking out to Guns N' Rosies (as Zach would say) Here are all the girls in the kitchen where we were most of the night. We would check back in at the game when we heard yelling & cheering. Eli would cry whenever the guys would cheer because he got scared. Funny, because he never cries. Ashley,Val, myself, RayLynn, Emily, and Ashley.
So here we have sweet little Kate Marostica. She is 2 weeks younger that Eli. Yes weeks, not months. She obviously likes men with muscles. Camden is going to marry her older brother Zach. This is how Eli keeps his figure. No diet soda for this boy.
If they look like thet are in a confined space........they are. It was great. They had a huge blow up play pin. The kids had a blast! We didn't see them much so we had a good time too. Thanks again for a great time Marostica's!
