new fad

These earrings look nothing alike.
So why did I wear them together TWICE last week? Yeah, not only did I wear mix-match earring once. But twice. And the same two.
Yes, I did go out in public.

Christmas party

We had a Christmas party with some of our friends from dental school who have all settled in Colorado. We did a white elephant gift exchange and played some charades. It was so fun to get together!

Emily got another pair of one-piece jammies to add to her collection.

Traver and Emily
The kiddos! Well, most of them.
Daegan got a snuggie for his gift. Leopard print.
It. was. awesome.
Chris & Kendra with whoppers & audio tapes.
Jason & Crystal the game Twister, thong, and........ a ski mask???
I'm sure they can find something interesting to do with these.

I think I got the best gift of all.
Large super-hero underwear.
Daegan and his mad acting skills. I am sad to say the guys beat us. Only because we gave them easy ones to guess. They gave us ones like "Gleaming the Cube."

1 year older and wiser too

Happy Birthday Camden! I can't believe my little princess is 5. I love this girl. Her and I have so much fun together. She is my favorite shopping partner. She tells me things that looks cute and she gets so excited about new clothes. She is honest too. The other day she told me that I don't look cute in the morning because I have black underneath of my eyes. So sometimes I don't wash my face. Okay, most the time.
She wanted a pedicure for her present. Okay, I guess if I have to drag myself to get one I will......for you. But ONLY because it's your birthday.

Daddy made her pink eggs for breakfast. And then of course we went to McDonald's for dinner. I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it a little. They have the best fries.

Date night

Last weekend Daegan and I finally had a date night. We went and saw WICKED. I saw it in NY but this was his first time. Yep, WICKED virgin. I loved it and wanted him to see it. We ate at Hard Rock Cafe before the show. Daegan had a burger and I had a chicken sandwich. The food wasn't that great. For those of you who know my husband he doesn't get excited about hardly anything. If it doens't have to do with guns, flashlights, knives, or fishing you will most likely get the shoulder shrug answer to alot of questions. Yeah, it's hard to know what he really wants.
So after it was over and I asked him if he liked it he shrugged and said "it was okay."

Well, I am going to interpret that as "I loved it. Really. I feel like I can't admit it becasue I'm a guy and it's a broadway play. Thanks for taking me babe. Oh, and did you see that Mary Poppins is coming in March? We should go."
