Van Gogh

Mason came home from school yesterday and was so excited to show me this picture he drew. Having a hard time figuring out who it is? It's ME and Eli. He even had me wearing my glasses and I guess he drew me on a day when I had no hair. What are those things in the middle of my HUGE midsection? My boobs. Yep. I mean, I stopped nursing him over a month ago. haha
I thought he would be over it by now. At least he gave me both of them and they are pretty even and perky if I must say. Mason, did you show this to the class? Sure did. I'm just waiting for a note or a phone call from the school. Questions and requests that he draws his family members with clothes on.........and lets leave body parts out of it. Sorry about the water mark. Some milk spilled on it at dinner. Or maybe I was leaking in the picture. So, as most of you know Mason recieved a swiss army knife for Christmas. Not from me or Santa but from Daegan. He is actually very responsible with it and I find myself asking him to use it quite often. He had a funny converstion with our friends dad at the superbowl party. Mason was trying open his can of sprite..........
Justin's dad: "Hey Mason, do you need help opening your soda?"
Mason: "No thank you, I can just use my knife."
Mason then pulls his knife out of his pocket and takes out the little screwdriver and pops open the tab just enough so he can grab it with his finger.
I have to apologize for my writing. Daegan says I really need to proof read better because I have a lot of mispelled words and run on sentences and so on. So sorry.

Super Bowl XLII

We headed over to our friends parents house to watch the superbowl. The have a killer big screen TV. Not that I watched the entire game because I was where the food was........I mean, taking care of the kids in the other room. Yes, I know who was playing and yes I know who won. At halftime we played some guitar hero. Here we have Luke helping Zach and Camden rocking out to Guns N' Rosies (as Zach would say) Here are all the girls in the kitchen where we were most of the night. We would check back in at the game when we heard yelling & cheering. Eli would cry whenever the guys would cheer because he got scared. Funny, because he never cries. Ashley,Val, myself, RayLynn, Emily, and Ashley.
So here we have sweet little Kate Marostica. She is 2 weeks younger that Eli. Yes weeks, not months. She obviously likes men with muscles. Camden is going to marry her older brother Zach. This is how Eli keeps his figure. No diet soda for this boy.
If they look like thet are in a confined space........they are. It was great. They had a huge blow up play pin. The kids had a blast! We didn't see them much so we had a good time too. Thanks again for a great time Marostica's!

What does your name mean?

I got this website from my cousin's blog. It's kinda fun. I don't like what it says about Amy. It makes me out to be spoiled and a beast! I'm sure you would all agree I am anything but that. So, I made up my own below this one. I definately like it better.
What Amy Means
You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality.
You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated. You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want. You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way!
You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising. You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.
Amy....You are a strong person. You are friendly, kind, and unselfish. You tend to be very popular wherever you go. Maybe it is your stunning good looks or charming personality. You are great cook and do amazing things in the kitchen. People have told you numerous times that you should go on Americas Next Top Model, or was it Extreme Makeover? You care about your family and friends and would do anything for them. You are an outstanding wife and your husband needs to realize this. Your not a very patient person and usually want things now. You hate folding laundry and cleaning the bath tub.(hey, it can't be all good stuff)

Heavyweight Champ

Eli had his 4 month check-up today and he weighed in at a whopping 18 lbs. 1 oz. Happy to report that with that weight there are no know medical problems. He's not considered to be "obese." We took some pics of Eli "knocking out" Mason and Camden. We are so proud. Eli with his dukes up
Yet another picture of the kids on the recliner. It's the only descent place to take pictures in the apartment.Daegan and I usually put the kids to bed and take pictures of eachother. It's super fun. Try and beat this excitement. We decided to play a little dress up. Ladies, I'm sure Daegan would be willing to lend this outfit for your husband. For a price.

FAT FREE = TASTE FREE

So I was at the grocery store the other day and wanted some bagels with cream cheese. I picked out my bagels (everything bagel) then headed for the cream cheese. Well, I decided since I was getting enough fat and calories from the bagel I would choose the less fattening cream cheese. Even though I'm sure most of you think I look pretty good and can eat what I want.................your right. I decided to buy fat free cream cheese. It can't be that different, right? W-O-W. It was disgusting. It got me thinking about low calorie/fat free foods that don't taste different than the regular. Whenever I buy 1/2 the fat or fat free anything Daegan throws a fit. We can't all be tall and thin and eat whatever we want without gaining a pound. No, I'm not talking about myself. First on the list of course is....
Fat Free Cream Cheese My friend made me some french toast with egg beaters and they weren't very tasty. She agreed with me so I don't feel bad saying so. She has yet to redeem herself.
I have alson tried this oatmel before. Again, how different can it be?
The cream cheese also got me thinking about generic foods. I'm not against buying generics. It saves a lot of money. I don't love Mac & Cheese but I will eat it. It has to be Kraft though. Generic Mac & Cheese is just nasty. And the real stuff is delicious. haha
If you have tried a fat free or generic item that you loved/hated let me know. In the future, just buy the good, fattening cream cheese.
